Margo Kipps, former co-director of the CCWP, has been teaching high school English for 28 years in the Santa Cruz City Schools. Her BA was earned at Fresno State University in Latin and English in 1971, her MA in Comparative Literature (medieval lit emphasis) in 1974, and her credential from UCSC in 1986. She has been a district mentor, a supervisor for English Education at UCLA (2002-2007), and CCWP leadership for over 20 years. Her classroom research has always focused on the articulation between college and high school writing, preparing upper classmen for the various reading and writing tasks demanded in early college. In June, 2015, She will also walk with the senior class and retire.
